叶开枝又名開智1941年出生于芜湖市。大学文化,结业于厦门大学,研修于中国人民大学、艺术学院,书法高级创作研修班,安徽师范大学函投班。对诗词、楹联有着浓厚兴趣,特别对“藏头诗”“回文诗”即古碑圣帖精到临习、书法技艺先得汉隶、魏碑、唐楷和宋、元、明、清以及近名人墨迹。无不精心揭摩、刻意钻研。对二王行书的飘逸笔法亦有精深琢研,将自撰诗词与书法融为一体,堪称诗书两绝,诸书皆精。更能融百家长处,得技法超群,独树一帜的书法品质。
